Local Info

Pubs & Grub

Welcome to Lybster, where the amenities are as quirky as the locals! Henderson's Convenience Store is your one-stop-shop for everything under the sun, from toothpaste to Potato Scones. Need a stamp? The Post Office has you covered, but don't hold your breath for a warm welcome – the owner's smile is rarer than a sunny day in Scotland. Feeling parched? Head to The Commercial Pub, owned by Theresa and George, for a pint and a chat with the friendliest regulars this side of the Highlands, just don't expect a menu – apparently, food's for the weak. Looking for a cozy spot? The Bayview is your go-to, but make sure it's Friday or Saturday night unless you fancy chatting up the seagulls. No food, but hey, who needs it when there's a crackling fire and a mean game of pool waiting for you? And for those seeking some delectable delights, The Village Cafe offers a mouthwatering array of dishes, the cafe is on the left as drive/walk down the main street from the A99.
